Welcome to Iterative Living my first attempt at capturing and sharing the many ideas that flow through my brain as I make my way through life.

Iterative is a word I borrowed from the Software Development world. Iterative development is a concept that software developers use to describe the process they use to evolve an idea, a software application or service over time. Usually ideas and design for software take a while to be refined through a series releases and customer trials. Since software can be easily modified after it is first created the best developers have learned to embrace Iterative development. They prototype and idea, get early alpha and beta releases shipped to customers and they learn as they go.

I believe this concept of Iterative development applies to almost everything we do in life. From the time we are born we are in a constant state of learning, refinement of our life. I believe that those who are more conscious of this iterative living have the most opportunity to grow and learn as they journey through life. I will attempt to write Blog posts relating to the things that I am iterating through in my current stage of life. I would expect this to cover a huge range of topics including: Parenthood, Work Life Balance, education, recreation, travel etc.

If anyone actually reads these articles I hope you will provide me with feedback and your iterative living inspired ideas.
